It also offers articles on Cricket Rules, Player Profiles and exclusive coverage of IPL matches.

The Challenge

We launched this Cricket portal in June 2009. We started from Scratch, we were also involved in Design and Development of this portal.

The target set to us was to make this portal to be in Top 3 for keyword Cricket Tournaments , to engage visitors in social mdeia such as facebook and twitter, to drive traffic and ultimately to convert traffic into affiliate sales.

Our Strategy

We started with an overall Search and Social Media strategy.

Our search solution was based on Organic Search. We adopted organic and 100% manual link building strategy which included Directory submission, UK Business Directory Submission, link building from blogs and article sites.

Social Media Optimization and promotion in Social Media was another major work which involved live updates in social media as events happen.

We created Cricket Tournaments facebook page, twitter account and accounts on other social networking website and social bookmarking sites. We integrated portal with social media for instant push of the posts.

The Achievement

With our aggressive Search & social media strategy we manage to achieve the top 3 ranking on Google.

Our social media effort has broght in 200 facebook fans.

Within 1 yr of its launch we have managed to achieve the set target of Google top 3 ranking and also manage to deliver the ROI to the client.
